Now is the time to sign up. USA Gold Wrestling Club is now accepting registration for the Spring Freestyle/ Greco Roman season. All beginner wrestlers ages 6 and up are welcome. Instruction is geared toward both the beginner and the advanced wrestler. Fundamental skills are stressed and instructed in a progressive manner that stresses skill mastery. Wrestlers are instructed in competition strategy and coaches will be available in limited numbers at the local and regional tournaments. Local and regional tournaments are optional and held on Saturdays.
Experienced Coaches
USA Gold’s coaching staff includes current and former Del Oro High School coaches and wrestlers. Del Oro High School consistently has some of the best wrestlers in the Sacramento Area and has been Sierra Foothill League Champion 13 out of the past 16 years.
Great facilities
USA Gold Wrestling Club practices at Del Oro High School in the Wrestling Gym. This facility is approximately 5,000 sq. ft. and is considered one of the largest and best equipped wrestling facilities in Northern California. Facility includes a spectator area for parents. Closest parking is located in upper lot by Pool. Athletic facilities are located towards rear of school.

Practices: Tuesday and Thursday 6:00- 7:00 for grade school ages 6-12; 7:00- 8:15 for 7th- 12th grade.
The starting date is February 23 and the local season runs through May 8. Wrestlers can sign up at any time, but it is highly recommended to sign up early, as practices are taught in a progressive manner.
Note: No specific clothing is required for wrestling practices. Clothing must be clean and free of zippers and snaps. Wrestling shoes are recommended (not required) and can be purchased at local sporting supply stores.
NEW REQUIREMENT: A USA Wrestling Card is required and must be purchased online through USA Wrestling. This is a membership and insurance card that is required to be a member of the club and to compete at any of the tournaments in the area. Membership in the club includes a USA Wrestling monthly magazine. To purchase a USA Wrestling Card click on the link. Please list USA Gold as wrestling club during membership process - this is important for team points for Club Championship Tournament.
